I grew up in Asheville, before it was hip to do so.
I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an experience I highly recommend.
Despite this, I chose Duke University for graduate school, a decision some of my basketball-loving friends still won’t accept. I doubled down on this decision by returning to Duke’s Fuqua School of Business in 2022 to help better connect MBA students with startup jobs.
I used to work at TransLoc, a company that made public transit easy by taking lots of confusing data and presenting it to people in useful and elegant ways. In my role as National Director of Policy, I talked to those leaders who are working to build a more equitable, accessible, and verdant mobility future and showcase many of those conversations on the podcast I co-hosted for three years, The Movement Podcast.
I live in Durham. I defy anyone to find a cooler, more evocative city nickname than the Bull City.
