I grew up in Asheville, before it was hip to do so.
I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an experience I highly recommend.
Despite this, I chose Duke University for graduate school, a decision some of my basketball-loving friends still won’t accept.
I work at TransLoc in Durham. We make public transit easy by taking lots of confusing data and presenting it to people in useful and elegant ways. In my role as National Director of Policy, I talk to those leaders who are working to build a more equitable, accessible, and verdant mobility future and showcase many of those conversations on the podcast I co-host, The Movement Podcast.
I live in Durham. I defy anyone to find a cooler, more evocative city nickname than the Bull City.
